Awaiting the Zombie Apocalypse

Throughout the course of pretty much every day, I think of several things I'd really like to write about. Of course, it's always when I'm walking around, or doing something else that prevents me from pulling out a notebook or sitting at my computer. But I thought I'd at least try to remember some of it, because I do rather like to blog. Really I just like to write, but for some reason posting it on the internet is somewhat more satisfying.

I've come up with some ideas for a series of oil paintings I'd like to do when I have more free time. This is reassuring; maybe I can function as an artist after all.

I gave two weeks notice at my current job and will start at Wahoo! soon. I hope it works out okay; I hate job searching. I'm stricken with guilt and paranoia about the whole thing. Mostly I just adore my coworkers, and feel sad to leave them behind. I vow to keep in touch!

Last week I saw a woman walking up the street near GSU wearing a creamsicle colored nylon jumpsuit. It made a nice swishy sound, and was completely unseasonal.

Um... seeing Fleet Foxes on Tuesday? Should be fun.

I just lay down for a second and my pillow feels/smells so good, I think I need to go to bed now. I shall ponder my shortcomings and my plans for the future on the morrow. Cheerio!
