Sprang Brake 2008, Ya'll.

On Tuesday, Suki brought Axl over so I can babysit him while she's gone. Axl is a big fluffy cat. We've been chillin'. He's probably the most chilled out cat ever.
This is Axl.
I walked around for a while and it felt SO GOOD to be outside. I sat in this neat little park I recently discovered, which has all of these gorgeous blossoming trees. I'm going to try to go back and take a picture today. I also wandered a little in the area behind the building I live in: it's a pretty sweet neighborhood. There are lots of neat old fallin' apart houses with all the cool molding and bay windows and dormers your little heart could desire. The best was this massive victorian-looking dealy that's clinging to the side of a hill. I'll try to take a picture of that, too.

Yesterday night I went to go see Diplo and Justice! That's right, children. I did. It was absolutely wonderful. I managed to find some folks to go with, and dancing furiously for three hours with a bunch of cute gay boys is really satisfying and way better than being awkward and alone. Also, I wore a fanny pack. Which I will now do for every show I attend; it's very convenient. But really, I pretty much had my mind blown: it was an incredible show and almost everybody there was really into it and dancing.

Finally, just in case you ever wonder what I do at art school, here is a crappy picture of my crappy ink wash book project from illustration. We somehow ended up working on these for about four weeks.
