Today, I screwed around in photoshop and created some bizarre neon self-portraits. Thanks, Digital Tools class. Then Illustration Studio, where we made boring shape compositions. I thought this was a major class; I already finished that foundation shit. Oh well, it was really relaxing to just draw. Then I bought detergent and am currently doing LAUNDRY! It costs two dollas to wash and dry. Rip off. Also, there's nowhere to sit and wait, so I'm really paranoid that while I'm gone someone will make off with my clothes. Not likely, but people steal all kinds of things...
I think I'm starting to get my surroundings down a little better. Tomorrow it is my intention to go job hunting, hurrah hurrah. Not that there are a whole lot of places to apply... seriously, everyone I've talked to mentions how hard it is to get a job here. Ugh, I have no money.
Tomorrow should be fun; Jen's having a birthday party. Tonight I'm going to bed super early so I don't collapse tomorrow; today I kept nodding off in Illustration studio. What can I say, it was boring.

Well, things may have been going slowly, but you have friends! Hooray! I know I didn't go across the country or anything, so I half-asses uprooted myself, but I know how weird it is to be in a foreign place. You're adapting beautifully (already scoped out the good shopping spots!) and puttin' yourself out there, and thats what its all about. As long as you don't put too much of yourself out there for Mr. Crazy. No last names or addresses.
