Today, I had my natural science class, in which Tana and Elliot and I essentially goofed off a lot and talked about awesome things like surgery while we attempted to research GM foods. Then I came home and perused the interweb for interesting things.
Jen, Elliot and I are going to go get pierced up in a little while! I'm excited, I haven't had my ears pierced in a long time. I'm worried about that whole sticking a needle in my skin thing, though. Eeurgh. I'm ready to wear enormous hoop earrings, though, so it's about time. (Edit 9:54- I now have 12 gauge, about 2 mm, white glass plugs in my ears. Just for the record, I'm not planning on stretching my ears way out. Definately not more than 4 mm. It's funny, this place makes you want to do weird shit to your body.)
Alright, it's sunny and raining. Mixed messages, Portland. Mixed messages.
My exercise for today was snecretly lifting my roommate's weights, then dancing wildly in my room for the duration of Atlas. The people below us probably hate me now. That's okay, Battles takes precedence over people's opinions of me.
Dear Kate, Will, and Monty: while you are here I intend to incite some kind of dance party. We need a good one; there's too many squares here. Srsly, these people are cubical.
I Promise.

I am so ready for a Bebop-organized dance party. This dance party should include Battles and Dan Deacon. Maybe some M.I.A. if we're drunk, which we of course will be.
Your plans of zoo action and venturing to the park sound lovely. I'm real excited (said with a thick southern drawl). But the coast? Do not toy with me. That sounds too good to be true. How far is it by train?
